Business Logos

Logos are an important part of your business image. They are part of how people identify you in the crowd, the image reminds customers of you when they see it, and a well-designed logo can create a sense within the customer about your business. For example, if your business involves organic food, you probably want a nice fresh green featured in the logo, and the image itself can convey wholesomeness and/or earthiness. If your business is insurance, you want a good "solid" color and clean lines that give the customer a subconscious sense of your stability and reliability.
Logos are important on business cards, but can be even more important as part of your web design in the case of eCommerce businesses. We recently featured trade show displays, and that would be another arena where getting your logo out there to be recognized and seen can be very important. Letterheads of paper correspondence or image files embedded in your electronic correspondence are another opportunity for showcasing your logo and reminding customers once again to think of you first.
In seeking a service to design your logo (or in this case, also offering you the option to design it yourself) several factors are important to consider. The first is that the images you are offered be ones that stand out, and represent your business well. You don't want to use just another clip art of a computer monitor for your tech support business. No one will remember you that way. So find images with spark that tend to remain in your customers' minds. Secondly, image quality is important. Seek a file image that allows you to resize, either large or small, and still maintain image quality. A blurry logo gives a worse impression than none at all. Another consideration that is often important (depending on how you use your logo) is whether it translates well when not in color. (This can be important if you send a lot of faxes, for example, or need to make a large number of flyers that will be in black-and-white.)
We visited a logo design website and, as you can see, were able to create an appropriate logo with a high-quality image. We went on to add it to a business card format, but the image could be arranged in a way suitable for any use you may have in mind for your business. The process was very easy. We encourage you to visit and design a logo for yourself! If you don't want to design your own logo but would rather have a professional designer do it for you, they will provide you with a number of options for your approval. But the design process is very easy to do and takes only a few minutes, so we would really encourage you to at least try it for yourself first.
